DRANSFIELD – PEARLS

Pearls are Mother Nature's Gems of the Sea. Their mysterious glow and shimmering iridescence have made them one of the most sought after of gems. Pearls are now very affordable for all who wish to wear them. When choosing pearls, one should consider the pearl's Luster (glow), Surface (cleanliness of the surface, i.e. no spots or bumps), Shape (roundness), Color, and Size.

Our extensive selection of pearls and the variety of sizes, shapes and colors is second to none!  Below is just a sample of our huge in-store selection.

Cultured Acoya Pearls: necklaces.  Salt water, white traditional pearls. Sizes range from 3 to 10mm.

Black Tahitian Pearls: rings, necklaces, pendants and earrings.  Sizes range from 8 to 17mm.

Fresh-Water Pearls: cultivated from fresh-water mussels and the most moderately priced of pearls.  Various colors, sizes and free form shapes, with names like coin pearls, stick pearls, ovals, pears and rounds.

Keshi Pearls: non-nucleated pearls created by accident in the culturing process.  Characteristically odd shaped.

South Sea Pearls: white & gold in color.  Due to their rarity, these pearls command premium prices.  Sizes range from 8 to 18mm.
